Rift Matchpoint is a small community project. It collects the minimum needed to run a ranked ladder.
What we store
Your email address and password (handled by our authentication provider and stored hashed, never in plain text), your display name, your rating and match record, your queue tickets and matches, the results you report, disputes you are part of, and any screenshots you upload as evidence.
We also record integrity events tied to your account — declined or timed-out pairings, missed room codes, missed reports and moderation actions — so judges can review behaviour over time.
What is public
Your display name, rating, win-loss record, streak and ladder position are public. Settled match summaries are public so profiles have verifiable history. Your email address is never shown to other players.
Evidence screenshots
Dispute screenshots are stored in a private bucket. They are not publicly reachable and are served only through short-lived links to the uploader and to judges reviewing that dispute. Do not upload anything you are not comfortable sharing with staff.
No tracking or advertising
We do not run advertising, do not sell data, and do not use third-party behavioural tracking on this site. Basic hosting logs may exist for reliability and abuse prevention.
Deletion
Ask staff in the community channel and we will delete your account. Because the ladder needs a consistent history, settled matches may be retained with your display name replaced by an anonymous placeholder.
Changes
This is closed-alpha wording, not a formal legal agreement. It will be replaced before any public launch, and we will announce material changes in the community channel.
Closed alpha document. Wording will change as the ladder develops; the current version always applies.
